Testimonials

The International Conference on Aerospace Science and Technology 2022 has been one of my most important and interesting academic experiences so far. I managed to attend three courses (taught by highly intelligent and capable aerospace professionals) in which I was very interested, mainly the course “Newtonian Physics Behind Orbital Mechanics”, taught by Dr. Jorge Hernandez, since it’s closely related to the career I am currently studying. In this course I was able to see how physics is applied in the aerospace field, which was very enlightening. On the other hand, the lectures given at the event were of high relevance, since they were given by expert researchers, who are an example of what to look up professionally. They allowed me to broaden my knowledge and interest in aerospace science and technology. I am fully convinced that the event in question is a great opportunity to inform and give visibility to the areas related with the space sector, as well as to establish collaborative relationships between different academic, research and engineering entities. I have no doubt that the next editions will be even better and will be attended by a wider and more diverse audience. The development of aerospace science and technology is a great challenge in itself and particularly for our nation, but we have the intellectual resources. This is an important medium that will open up new opportunities in the sector.

Enrique García

Undergraduate Student

It’s the first congress I have attended and to be able to learn about the many aerospace topics was definitely a great experience for me, as up to that moment I ignored a lot about the field. The dissemination and presentation of this type of information is something fundamental for the technological development of the country. Personally I believe it has had a great impact on the way I look up to life and I’m sure that this will surely be appreciated in the not too distant future.

Jesus Pablo

Undergraduate Student

The International Conference on Aerospace Science and Technology 2022 was the first conference I have attended as both staff and attendant, so it was a new and really important experience for me, it gave me the opportunity to see how things work from the inside and gain valuable experience. I believe that this kind of activities involving science and technology as an ally are extremely important for our country, as there is not enough visibility and involvement in the scientific area. This event opens the opportunity for younger generations to learn about the places where they can be supported and heard about their scientific concerns. As part of that generation I feel honoured and grateful to be able to be in a place where we all have a common interest in science. All of these little things allowed me to enjoy a harmonious environment and therefore enjoy the congress to the fullest.

Karen Medina

High School Student

I must say that of all the congresses I attended in 2022, this was the first one I have seen to be attended by so many high-level executives and keynote speakers. It’s the proof of all the effort invested by the organisers of the event to make this a reality. One point on which all the keynote speakers and executives agreed is that there exists a great interest from academia and industry, but this interest has not been shared by the Mexican government and society. There are great opportunities for research and development, but considerable support, infrastructure and funding are needed.

Arturo Hurtado

Graduate Student

This congress is a great opportunity for me to get involved in the aerospace field, which incorporates several branches of engineering and science. Thanks to this event together with its workshops and presentations let me learn and expand my knowledge, which allows me to create projects, generate innovative ideas or create new technologies and advance the knowledge frontier. On the other hand, the interaction between attendees allows development of relationships and collaboration between people who continue contributing to the technological development of the country while also attracting students, teachers, professionals and attendees to this field of study.

Alfredo Sánchez

Undergraduate Student

My experience with congresses was practically null, which caused me to have certain stumbles that could be caused by trivialities when working with the organisation. Fortunately, I consider that I immersed myself to the point that I was able to learn, experience, understand and appreciate the effort and dedication that goes into every detail of organising an event, especially a scientific one. At times it was inevitable to start doubting the value of the work we were doing, however, when I began to talk a little with all the organisers and attendees with whom I had the privilege of spending time, I knew that it had been worth it. I knew that our work had a much greater importance and relevance than I had ever imagined.

Fernando Rodríguez

Undergraduate Student

The experience of living this congress was very pleasant for all visitors and exhibitors. The multiple challenges that the congress entailed due to it being a first edition had to be faced. In the end, the result was pleasant and personally, I am very grateful to the organisers of the event.

Lemuel Sánchez

Undergraduate Student

Participating in this long-planned event under the leadership of Dr. Jorge, Prof. Gaby, and Eng. Benjamin was one of the most enriching experiences for my professional development, each attendee with different skills and brilliant minds that, throughout the congress, showed me why each of us is there and while we may be from different disciplines, our interest in aerospace technology and science was clear and free. The lectures, presented by different personalities in the aerospace sector were fruitful works that demonstrate their level of preparation and professionalism. The way in how they bring to the forefront all these technologies and apply them to the development of new lines of research that are of high scientific interest.

Jair Molina

Undergraduate Student

I was attending the workshops and the lectures. In these workshops I learned about space, satellites and a bit of field terminology. It was particularly enriching for me that at the end I was able to fill in some of my knowledge gaps. Fortunately the workshops and lectures were not designed for experts in the field, this allowed me to better digest the information. I was also very pleased to be able to meet and get to know many of the people who make up the CDA community, although I have been a part of this community for some time now, I hadn't had the opportunity to meet them in person. This is something very enriching, to be able to meet people from many areas of science, sharing their knowledge, their goals and achievements. This is something that allows me to take their experience to form a broader criterion. Finally, this was the first opportunity I have had to be part of a scientific event while meeting and sharing ideas with people who are very warm and have a deep understanding of the field.

José Ramírez

Undergraduate Student

During the event, the authors, speakers and attendees in general, presented works of an admirable academic category and presented quite innovative ideas. I believe that this event is a step forward in unifying the efforts of all institutions dedicated to the development of the Mexican aerospace field, which is severely overlooked by the general public.

Arturo Vargas

High School Student

I attended this congress and had the opportunity to talk to some of the organisers and staff about the event. I was amazed that although the event lacked visibility, they managed to get interesting and relevant speakers, and it seems that a great deal of networking and collaboration was achieved. I as a student was able to see the amount of effort that was needed to achieve the congress. During this event a clear exchange was achieved not only between the speakers and public, but also from the organisers, staff, instructors and colleagues, on various issues, like future collaborations, projects, thesis topics, support, etc.

Graduate Student
