Testimonials

Last year, I had the privilege of being part of the event staff team, performing simple but fundamental tasks such as assisting with the placement of banners and arranging chairs. This previous experience, along with the opportunity to witness the development of the event in its previous edition, allowed me to appreciate even more the magnitude and importance of this conference. In this year's 2023 edition, taking on the role of local organizer for the event, I have been immersed in all activities related to the congress. Unlike last year, my level of responsibility has greatly increased. From logistical planning to coordinating speakers and managing resources, I have been committed to ensuring that the International Conference on AeroSpace Science and Technology (ICASST) in its 2023 edition is a resounding success, although this has not been the case in all aspects. I look forward with enthusiasm to seeing how this event continues to generate a significant impact in the aerospace field, promoting technological development and strengthening ties among all stakeholders.

My participation in the International Conference on Aerospace Science and Technology 2023 involved the development of the event's website (https://www.icasst.mx). As a programmer, I had to create graphic elements and functions that were user-friendly, allowing users to access all information related to the event through this digital platform. I also kept track of the event organization during website updates, including adding information about keynote speakers, courses, participants, etc. I attended the event to enhance my knowledge in the fields of engineering and research, aiming to generate new investigations, projects, or gather ideas that would contribute to my professional experience. I am very pleased to have participated, attended, and contributed to ICASST for a second time, as it serves as additional motivation for me to continue promoting the technological and scientific development of my country. This also helps in showcasing the name of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional with pride.

My participation in ICASST 2023 as part of the staff was a quite positive experience. Firstly, the courses I attended on the first day were interesting as they covered various topics that can be quite important for researchers, addressing issues that are often present but may not receive sufficient attention. Subsequently, the ceremonies were well-organized, and as a staff member, I could observe that everything was meticulously prepared in advance, leaving nothing pending. The presentations were enriching and well-planned, and the breaks provided were quite effective for recharging energy. The overall interaction was very pleasant, maintaining a calm and friendly atmosphere throughout. I would like to see these events have a more significant impact on life in general and greater recognition given to all those individuals who have dedicated their time and, in some cases, their lives to contribute to the development and research in the country.

Emiliano Morales Camacho

Thanks to my participation in this event, I was able to observe different projects focused on the Aerospace field and how each career or degree can have an impact within this field. I also had the opportunity to be part of the staff, where I performed various tasks for which I had no skills or prior knowledge. However, thanks to this, I gained some experience that will likely be relevant in future activities. I hope to continue participating in these types of events and eventually undertake projects or work of this magnitude.

Javier Huerta Islas

Undergraduate Student

My participation this year in ICASST was as part of the staff. I was assigned the task of delivering acknowledgments and gifts to the keynote speakers. My role allowed me to attend most of the conferences, which undoubtedly enriched my knowledge. At the same time, I could observe excellent work by the audio and visual coordinator. The only difficulty the speakers encountered was with the wireless control to change their slides. The timing distribution seems appropriate; however, there were many delays in the program due to the organizers' and attendees' lack of punctuality. I believe the conferences are of great interest and high quality for the scientific community. I hope that next year there will be more promotion through electronic and physical media. I appreciate the opportunity given to me to be part of this great event and anticipate more successful editions of ICASST in the future.

Jesica Paola Hernández Bautista
